What We're About
At Ready, Set, Grow! Preschool, children learn through hands‑on exploration, movement, creativity, and time outdoors. We focus on building confidence, independence, and a sense of belonging. Our approach is grounded in respect for childhood and an understanding of how young children learn.

We use predictable rhythms, gentle guidance, and open communication with families to create a calm, welcoming space. Each child is supported as an individual, with room to try new things, make friends, and follow their natural curiosity.

About the Founder and Lead Teacher
Teacher Amber Huyter has spent many years working with young children in a variety of early childhood settings. She completed her early childhood education degree in 2016 with certifications in administration, general education, infant and toddler development, school age education and has continued her professional growth through additional trainings. In 2017 Teacher Amber founded Ready, Set, Grow! Preschool after she discovered a need for a well-balanced preschool option, rooted in genuine care and personal growth, that wasn't available in the Wenatchee Valley. She started with a single small class on her own and has grown to offer more than one session and have an assistant. Teacher Amber's career reflects nearly a decade of steady, hands‑on experience and successful student Kindergarten transitions. Over the years, she created a flexible curriculum that can be tailored to the needs of each student. Teacher Amber is currently working on expanding to new programs that also follow Washington State early learning standards and is shaped by warm routines, meaningful relationships, and child‑centered learning. Community connections continue to grow through guest speakers, field trips, and plans for a larger program in the future.
